Privacy Policy

What information this website may collect, and how it is used.

Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information Mission Bezubaan may collect when you use this website and how that information may be used.

1. Information We May Collect

Depending on how you use this website, we may collect information such as your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, the content of a message you send us through our contact form, WhatsApp or email, and, where relevant to resolving a payment issue, a donation or transaction reference. We may also collect basic technical information, such as your browser type, that is generated automatically when you visit a website.

We do not collect or store your card details, UPI PIN, bank password or other confidential payment credentials through this website.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information you share with us to respond to your enquiries, look into a donation or payment issue you raise, provide support, communicate with you when you have asked us to, keep this website secure, and improve the website and the experience of using it.

3. Payment Information

Any authentication needed to complete a payment happens inside your own banking or UPI app, not on this website.

4. Third-Party Services

If you choose to contribute using UPI, that payment is completed inside your own UPI app according to its own privacy policy; we do not process or store your payment credentials. If you contact us on WhatsApp, your message is handled according to WhatsApp's own privacy policy. If you email us, your message is handled according to your email provider's policy as well as this one. Our website hosting provider may process basic technical data, such as your IP address, to deliver this website securely.

At this time, this website does not use third-party analytics or advertising services. If that changes, this policy will be updated to describe it.

5. Cookies

This website does not use cookies for advertising or behavioural tracking. If you leave a comment on an article, you may be offered the option to save your name, email address and website in a cookie for your convenience the next time you comment. If you are a Mission Bezubaan team member signing in to manage this website, standard WordPress login cookies are used to keep you signed in.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information shared with us. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by any applicable legal or operational obligations.

8. User Requests

If you would like to ask about, update, or request the removal of your personal information, please get in touch with us.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our website and activities evolve. The latest version will always be published on this page.
